Curriculum Vitae

As an assistant professor at the Geotech-Engineering section at NCKU, I stand committed to confronting these challenges through a blend of fundamental and applied research. Viewing geo-infrastructure design and service stages as critical pathways to resilience, I am driven by the need to enhance the methodologies employed in these phases. My vision encompasses a novel approach that melds advanced laboratory testing with innovative field-scale monitoring.

My research contribution aims to, on the one hand, deepen our understanding of intricate soil behaviors through advanced laboratory testing—especially for those involving unsaturated conditions, climate stresses, and cyclic dynamic loads. On the other hand, I seek to introduce novel field monitoring and numerical modeling techniques to boost infrastructure resilience, employing data-driven methodologies, artificial intelligence, and the development of virtual replicas.
